Dear Panther Families,
I am excited to invite you to Abingdon Elementary School to meet and get to know me on Thursday, July 30. Families may stop by anytime between 9:00–11:00 a.m. or 5:00–7:00 p.m.
As I begin this new chapter with the Abingdon community, one of my biggest priorities is building strong relationships with our students and families. I want to learn more about your experiences, hear what makes Abingdon special to you, and begin working together to build upon the pride, connection, and traditions that already make this such a wonderful school.
I believe our students are most successful when home and school work together. Your voice matters, and I want every family to know that they are an important part of our Panther family. Together, we will continue creating a school where every child feels safe, supported, challenged, and proud to belong.
I will also be attending the B.C. United Outreach 4th Annual Back-to-School & Community Block Party on Saturday, August 1, from 2:00–6:00 p.m. at Gloucester High School. I would love for you to stop by and introduce yourself if you see me there!
I hope you will stop by, say hello, and give me the opportunity to begin getting to know you and your family. I cannot wait to meet everyone!
With appreciation,
Ruben “Geno” Casas
